After 12 years in the beauty industry I found myself burnt out and looking for a way out. I had "made it" according to my industry peers. I was working 5-6 days a week and usually double booked. I was exhausted, full of anxiety and I was still struggling to feel financially secure. I had decided to go back to school and start over with a "stable job" as a nurse. Unfortunately due to a medical complication I had to leave school in the middle of my RN program. After many months of being bed ridden I was desperate to get back to work and feel creative again. I knew that this time my health was on the line and I couldn't mess around. My time in the salon needed to be strategic. I radically changed every aspect of my business, I dove head first into mindset work and I decided that I was going to work smarter not harder. Within a year I was making six figures working part time and loving every day in the salon. I was attracting my ideal clients and I no longer felt burnt out and hopeless.
